Keyboarding for grades 3-5

For the past 3 weeks,  I have been teaching keyboard to my 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders.  So far, they have learned how to properly place their hands on the keyboard (we call that "keyboard ready").  They have also learned the home row keys and the upper row keys.  This week we used an Internet website to further help the students get some practice using their keyboarding skills.   Dancemat typing is the name of the website.  I encourage both parents and students to go to this site and practice building your keyboarding skills.
