Firefox- Multiple homepages

Today, I was trying to make a new homepage of my students, and by accident, discovered that you can have multiple homepages appear at the same time by adding what tech geeks call a "pipe".   It is located on the same key as the back slash (you will need to use the shift key to access it). After you familarize yourself with the "pipe", follow these directions:
  • Open Firefox.
  • Open Firefox Preferences.
  • Locate and click the "General" tab (looks like a light switch).
  • In the "Homepage" text box, add your favorite web page and separate each one with the pipe character.
Like this

  • Close the preference window.
  • In the web browser, locate and click the "Home" button.
  • The homepages will show as multiple tabs within the browser window.
